Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to all our clients and families – and prospective clients too!

Sadly, we are back in lock-down due to the upsurge in covid-19 cases, and, at Viney Hall, we are doing our best to remain covid-secure and carry on with face to face treatments only when really necessary.  All first appointments will be by Zoom video-link or telephone, and only those who can’t be treated successfully remotely will be invited to attend the clinic.

We continue to try to keep covid out by insisting on completion of covid forms prior to attendance at Viney Hall, careful appointment times to avoid meeting others, waiting in the car, masks, PPE, enhanced regular cleaning and airing of rooms between patients.  And trying to help people remotely wherever possible.

We are delighted to have been able to help many people who have been struggling with pain and mobility issues recently, and the government rules are allowing us to continue this valuable service.

Having returned to live classes on the Pilates Reformers and Hybrid  Pilates Mat classes (some on zoom, and some in the studio) before Christmas, we are now unable to allow people back into Viney Hall for classes at the moment.  Pilates classes continue on Zoom, however, and many people are getting well used to this form of exercise with our expert instructors supervising.

We still have some spaces available in a few classes, so do phone if you would like to book on. Courses start this Monday, 11th January.

Acupuncture appointments are available, with Helen continuing to work 2 days a week, and there is limited availability for massage appointments with Hayley.

We do need to all continue to be patient during these difficult times.  Most of us now know of people who have been infected and got better, people still struggling with “long-covid” and, tragically, people who have died.  I don’t need to tell you to continue to be extremely careful and stay at home as much as possible. We are so lucky to live where we do in the Forest with easy access to great walking every day.

That’s my best advice: walk every day, whatever the weather!

Let’s hope the vaccinations run smoothly.  There are so many volunteers putting themselves forward to help, it’s wonderful to see. Thank you to them and thank you to the NHS workers who continue to be amazing!

Stay safe!
