Pip Deave
Chartered Physiotherapist and Pilates Instructor
Grad.Dip.Phys., MCSP, Dip. Inject Ther, APPIPip qualified in 1982 at the Royal London Hospital and after gaining experience in several London hospitals and private practices she moved to the Forest of Dean in 1991. Initially practising from home she started the Viney Hall practice in 1996. She has completed many post-graduate courses including gaining a Diploma in Injection Therapy in 1999 and in 2002 qualified as a Modified Pilates Teacher through the Austrailian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute (APPI). She has run Pilates classes since then.
Sue Nancollas
Chartered Physiotherapist
Grad.Dip.Phys., MCSPSue qualified in 1978 at the Royal London hospital and after working in London and Manchester she moved to the Forest of Dean in 1984. Initially she worked in the community in the Forest. She joined Viney Hall in 1996, bringing with her a wealth of experience.
Mike Coates
Chiropodist/Podiatrist
D.Pod.M., P.G. Cert (Biomechanics)Mike qualified in London in 1990. He has worked in private practice for 10 years. He and his wife Kerry, also a chiropodist, offer the full range of chiropody services. Mike's special interest is in sports injuries and biomechanics, and he is in the process of developing a state-of-the-art gait analysis facility at Viney Hall. Mike is H.P.C. Registered.
Bob Jones
Massage Therapist
BSc
Bob completed a VTCT sports massage course in 2000, and quickly developed an interest in the area, building a client base ranging from nurses and builders to elite athletes. Subsequently, he completed an ITEC therapeutic massage course and a Thai massage qualification from the Wat Po Palace in Thailand. Bob qualified as a chartered physiotherapist in 2007, but decided not to persue this as a career. This training has given him a broad background and led to better insight into his massage sessions, helping with referrals from the resident physiotherapists at Viney Hall. Bob intends to continue his professional development and diversify into areas such as indian head massage.
Helen Hayes

Acupuncturist
BSc Hons, MBAcC, LicAc, BA Hons
Helen qualified in 2006 with a BSc in traditional acupuncture from the London College of Traditional Acupucnture and is a member of the British Acupuncture Council (www.acupuncture.org.uk ). Helen developed a practice in St Albans, Hertfordshire before moving to the Forest of Dean with her family. After graduation she pursued specialised acupuncture training in gynaecology, fertility and obstetrics and co-founded Hertfordshire's first antenatal acupuncture clinic (www.mamanu.co.uk) and is a member of the Acupuncturists Fertility Network (www.acupuncture-fertility.org ). Helen has several areas of special interest including chronic stress, tension and anxiety disorders as well as back pain and sciatica.
Julia Foren

Therapeutic Counsellor

Julia graduated from Newcastle University with a degree in Psychology in 1983 and went into counselling in 1995. She has tutored in counselling at the Royal Forest of Dean College, and provided clinical supervision for counselling trainees. She currently works in a number of local GP surgeries and as a staff counsellor at Gloucester Royal Hospital. She is a member of the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies, and is accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.

Julia Malik

Physiotherapist and Pilates Teacher
BSc (Hons) PT, MCSP
Julia qualified as a Physiotherapist in 2004, from University of Wales College of Medicine, Cardiff. She started her physiotherapy career in the Gwent NHS Trust and now lives and works in Cardiff. She currently works as a musculo-skeletal therapist for Cardiff and Vale University Health Board and also for a Welsh premiership rugby club. In January 2008 Julia completed her modified pilates training and has since worked at Viney Hall as a Pilates Instructor.
Katy Roberts
Physiotherapist and Pilates Teacher
BSc (Hons) PT, MCSP
Katy qualified from Cardiff University in 2009. She has been employed as a rotational physiotherapist within the Aneurin Bevan Health board since. She has undertaken rotations in musculoskeletal outpatients, trauma and orthopaedics, acute care & respiratory, stroke rehab, neuro outpatients and rehabilitation. Katy has been training with the APPI throughout 2011 to become a modified pilates instructor and has since been teaching at Viney Hall Physiotherapy.
